1. STC is a non profit making organisation jointly owned by the current members. The Committee who are subject to re-election at the AGM administers the club.
2. The Committee, which is authorised to make decisions on all matters including financial expenditure, will act in accordance with any agreements made at the AGM.
3. The courts are for the exclusive use of the members of the Centre, their guests and such other persons agreed by the Committee.
4. Membership categories are agreed at the AGM (Qualifying date being the 1st April)
5. Annual subscriptions are agreed at the AGM and must be paid by the end of May or within 2 weeks of joining. A surcharge may be imposed on members who fail to pay by the due date.
6. Visitors will be charged a fixed fee per session and are restricted to 3 visits on this basis. In certain circumstances, the Committee may grant temporary membership at a reduced subscription. Junior & Intermediates are NOT allowed to bring guests.
7. The courts are generally available from 0900 to dusk.
8. Juniors can only use grass courts under adult supervision.
9. Grass courts must NOT be used in unfavourable conditions.
10. During club sessions play will be doubles on an alternating basis. Singles can only be played if no members are waiting to play.
11. Juniors who have reached a certain standard at the discretion of the Committee will be invited to attend club sessions.
12. The Centre will only provide balls for club sessions. For all other periods members must provide their own.
13. The last person to vacate the Centre is responsible for securing all doors and the main gate.
14. League matches have priority in the use of courts. Consult the notice board for all league & cup fixtures.
15. Suitable non-marking footwear must be worn.
16. The Committee reserves the right to review the future membership of any person who does not conform to these rules or whose conduct is detrimental to the Centre.
17. Responsibility for Juniors under the age of 14 wishing to use the courts during fixed four periods is with their parent/guardian i.e. access to the courts is the responsibility of the parent/guardian as the designated key holder for junior members.
