Club Redevelopment
Club RedevelopmentDuring May we will be meeting with the LTA and Caradon Council. Also in May we will be approaching potential sponsors these will include local companies, major companies, councils and grants such as the lottery. We will also be having our own fund raising events such as having a stall at the May fair in Saltash. The club are currently looking for funding for there redevelopment plans.
The plans are to turn the current 2 grass courts and 2 hard courts into 3 all weather courts and 2 mini tennis courts. 2 of these courts will have floodlighting. A new club house will also be built overlooking the courts.
Why do we need this redevelopment.
We need this to take our club forward and provide fun, social and competitive tennis all year round for all ages in the community. Our current facilities consist of 2 grass courts which can only be used for 3 months of the year and 2 hard courts which are cracking up and not within LTA safety guidelines. Our club house is over 50 years old and in need of replacing.
